On the 4th August 2008 The Fusiliers Museum Lancashire will leave its current location in Wellington Barracks and will relocate to the Bury Arts & Crafts Centre in Broad Street, Bury.

It is planned the museum will re-open to the public in February 2009, with the Arts & Craft Centre being renamed "The Fusilier Museum", the entrance being located in Moss Street, opposite the Bury Art Gallery, Museum & Archives.
