The National Trust, which owns Clandon House, have plans to rebuild the house but this will take several years to complete.

8th May 2017. The National Trust has now informed the Surrey Infantry Museum that they will not be allowed to return to the house following its renovation after the fire. Therefore, the museum will have to find a new home.
